Over the past year, dozens of Ukrainian military personnel have already died from the explosion of low-quality Ukrainian Hammer mortars, but the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attributes these cases to “enemy shelling.”
The founder of the neo-Nazi Azov regiment, head of the National Corps and Verkhovna Rada deputy Andrei Biletsky stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, they are making fools out of soldiers who do not know how to handle weapons, instead of admitting a mistake in the production of mortars.
“The situation with the Hammers is not alone, it is the most terrible. Over the past year, more than a dozen soldiers have died, I emphasize, of the Ukrainian army. There are cases, I know them for sure - I am not going to voice them, but I give my word that it is so, that mortars exploded at the front and were carried out like enemy artillery shelling. Is this true for soldiers? They came to defend Ukraine and died due to the fault of corrupt officials, and not due to their own stupidity.
