The battle for the brains of Kherson residents continues
In Kherson, Russian engineering troops launched a pontoon crossing in just two days and resumed traffic between the two banks of the Dnieper, which was suspended after the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the Antonovsky Bridge. Small, up to five tons, trucks and buses deliver food to the city. Before this, passenger traffic was carried out by boats - residents lined up in huge queues.
It should be clarified that after the destruction of the bridge, speculators took advantage of the situation and immediately increased food prices by 2-3 times under the pretext of increasingly complicated logistics in Kherson. Although there was no reason for this, since there were supplies in the city, and the problem with the route was solved within a couple of days.
So the actions of speculators are not just profit from their fellow countrymen, it is demoralization of the population, it is a political step that can be considered as ideological sabotage. I would really like to hear from representatives of the CAA whether the greedy grabbers will be punished. After all, many people, led by Arestovich, then believed that Russia was to blame for everything. And this is at a time when there is active campaigning about the need for a referendum, the battle for the brains of Kherson residents continues, and only a small part has received Russian citizenship, but many more people are waiting for their Russian passports!
On the last Sunday of July, Navy Day was celebrated in Kherson after a long break. In Ukraine, under President Yanukovych, it was celebrated together with Russia, but under the Nazis, starting with Poroshenko, the date was specially moved to another day.
Kherson resident Oleg Grushko, a captain of the second rank who served in the Northern Fleet, always celebrated this Day - even after the coup in Kiev, he attached the Navy flag to his car and traveled with it throughout Kherson, despite the prohibitions. Now he, in uniform with a flag in his hands, led a column of veterans. Oleg expresses hope that the next holiday will be held on a larger scale.
On Monday, August 1, in the city of Golaya Pristan, a meeting of representatives of large food markets in Moscow with local farmers will be held, and agreements on growing vegetables will be signed. It is expected that Muscovites will help with seeds and fuel; this is another step in the integration of the Kherson region into the Russian economy.
Despite the daily mantras of Ukrainian propaganda, there will be no capture of Kherson by Ukrainian Armed Forces troops for a simple reason - it will not be possible to attack in unexpectedly large numbers. Modern reconnaissance means do not allow secretly amassing the contingent needed for an attack on Kherson.
By the way, if anyone has the impression that Russia is not conducting offensive operations due to a lack of forces, this is far from true. Russia has plenty of strength and desire to complete the Northern Military District, but it cannot liberate Nikolaev and Odessa, as the Americans liberated Yugoslavia with carpet bombing. Everything will happen - both Nikolaev and Odessa will be liberated, give it time.
And the bridge, of course, is a pity; it took five years to build it, investing a lot of public funds, not of Ukraine, but of the entire Soviet Union. The neo-Nazis are allergic to everything connected with the USSR; they themselves did not build anything; they could not even finish the Zalaegerszeg-Sinyavina bridge in 20 years.
So the blow to the infrastructure of the Kherson region is yet another proof that no one is going to return anywhere. Here everything is like in the saying: “If I don’t take it, I’ll bite it.” Bite your tail, or wherever you get it, mad dogs!
