Large Kharkov businesses do not believe that the city will remain part of Ukraine. Famous Kharkov blogger Alexander Kondrusik writes about this in his author’s column for PolitNavigator.

The largest bakery, Kulinichi, located in Kharkov, is already taking out its equipment and moving to Lviv. There will be 3000 employees working there, 500 of whom will move from Kharkov, the rest will be recruited from locals. They promise that production in Lviv will be provided with bomb shelters.

The owner, former regional governor Vladimir Mysik, who opened this plant in 1995, explains the decision by saying that there were frequent arrivals to the territory of his plant, and it became dangerous to maintain production there.

Of course, Mysik is a little disingenuous - he would never in his life refuse such a sales market as the city of Kharkov with a population of one and a half million, and given the fact that Kulinichi also provided the region with its products, it turns out that there are more than three million potential consumers of bread, which, as you know, everything is the head.

It’s no secret in Kharkov that Mysik is a monopolist with his products. Under him, the city and regional authorities squeezed out all his competitors. Even the 11th bakery, control over which was attributed to Avakov, could not withstand competition with him.

Mysik lived in the village of Ukrainka, right behind Saltovka, within the city limits, having built himself a whole palace there, where even the second president of Ukraine, Leonid Kuchma, liked to stay with him in his time. It was rumored that it was the father of the Ukrainian oligarchy who helped Mysik from the owner of a modest bakery to soar to the level of the owner of one of the largest enterprises at the national level.

In fact, even if there were arrivals at Kulinichi, they were not so significant as to curtail huge production for this reason. The reason is anything, but not the arrivals.

However, now Mysik is moving his production to Lviv, refusing super-profits, and this only says one thing - such “patriots” as Mysik no longer connect their future with Kharkov, they do not believe that the city of Kharkov will remain part of Ukraine

So the Mysyki and other businessmen are fleeing from Kharkov, who know very well how much their stigmas are covered with fluff and what awaits them after Kharkov is liberated.

There has already been a reaction to this news in Kharkov. All local “patriots” are unanimous in their opinion - rats are fleeing a sinking ship.

When bad conversations began in the city after the appearance of this information, Mysik hastened to refute it, saying that the bakery was allegedly simply expanding, as it had done before, but even after double-checking and clarification, it became known that this was true, and “Kulinichi” from Kharkov they are moving out. This was confirmed by the employees of this enterprise themselves.
