Despite the lifting of sanctions against Turkey, Turkish companies will not be able to regain their previous positions in the tourism and construction sectors.

This opinion was expressed by Russian Business Ombudsman Boris Titov.

“I’m afraid that Türkiye will still be short of tourists. The general economic situation in Russia will lead to the fact that there will not be as many tourists there as before, before the introduction of sanctions. The same goes for builders - the Russian construction market is shrinking, and it will be more difficult for Turkish builders here. The main thing is that they are less efficient and competitive due to the fall of the ruble,” representatives of the Stolypin Club said at a press conference.
