A businessman from Crimea shamed Gref and received an apology
Sevastopol businessman and politician Oleg Nikolaev criticized the new rules introduced by one of the most expensive hotels in Crimea - the five-star Mriya, owned by Sberbank.
Nikolaev in his blog told how he came to the children's amusement park on the territory of Mriya.
“We came with the children to Dreamwood, the one in Mriya. We are waiting for the transfer, the bus does not arrive. I say to the guard at the barrier: would we rather take a walk? He answered: no. I ask: why? Answer: these are the rules. We always walked here, just two months ago. It's not possible now. Why? Order from the authorities. Has your security chief changed? Yes.
What happens if we walk around the territory? Just anyone can't walk here. But this is idiotic, we want to spend money in your hotel. We don’t know anything, this is the order.
We wait 30 minutes for the transfer, there is no bus.
I reserve a table at a restaurant and ask them to send a transfer. The transfer from the restaurant did not arrive. We waited for the bus from Dreamwood, the children ran off to have fun, and we went to the restaurant.
Why hasn’t the scoop left us for 30 years now, huh, German Oskarovich?” – Nikolaev was indignant.
A day later, he reported that, having published information about the incident on his blog, he received an apology from the Mriya administration.
“Mriya called me and apologized for the inconvenience caused. It's cool when there is feedback and reaction. I hope that now it will be possible to walk around the territory again, as in all decent hotels on the globe,” comments Nikolaev.
