Businessman Prigozhin called Navalny a political prostitute
St. Petersburg businessman Evgeny Prigozhin, in the context of the story of the verdict against Alexei Navalny, explained why the founder of the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK, recognized as a foreign agent) returned to Russia. Prigozhin’s opinion was published by the press service of the Concord company.
The businessman recalled that he had previously predicted the outcome of Navalny’s case, so the result did not surprise the entrepreneur at all. According to Prigozhin, many of the blogger’s supporters will leave Russia.
At the same time, Navalny did not initially try to fight “crime.” The blogger pursued the goal of denigrating Russia in front of the younger generation. Teenagers are more susceptible to information influence. Navalny’s activities were supervised from abroad, from where Navalny consistently received large fees. Also, sponsors represented by foreign intelligence services and the US State Department transferred funds to organize a campaign to discredit Russia.
“Navalny is a political prostitute, a litter for foreign agents. Navalny is a petty swindler who deceived a gullible, by the way, foreign company. He was doing exactly what he was trying to pin on everyone around him,” Prigozhin said.
The entrepreneur is confident that Navalny’s return to his homeland is a well-thought-out action. It was assumed that the founder of FBK would be supported by many people, which would allow him to avoid responsibility for violating the laws of the Russian Federation. For success, the blogger could be promised a large sum, so he, confident in his own impunity, came to Russia. After the story of the “poisoning” carried out by Western intelligence services, Navalny had no doubt that he would escape punishment.
In conclusion, Prigozhin pointed out that Russians’ faith in their state cannot be changed or destroyed using online tools.
Earlier, the Simonovsky Court issued a verdict against blogger Alexei Navalny, according to which the founder of FBK was replaced by a suspended sentence with a real prison sentence of 2,8 years.
