Businesses in the DPR are offered to lower taxes to stimulate wage growth
In the DPR, enterprises can receive a reduced tax rate in exchange for an obligation to increase average wages to 35,5 thousand Russian rubles by 2024.
This was announced by the representative of the Ministry of Revenue and Duties of the DPR Andrei Varava during a round table with activists of the Donetsk Republic movement.
According to the official, this rule came into force on October 29.
“Business entities in the field of coal mining, metallurgical production, as well as small and medium-sized businesses have the right to apply a single rate of social contribution in the amount of 15 percent - instead of 31, which was in force before the entry into force of this resolution.
This resolution provides for the conclusion of an agreement between a business entity and the Ministry of Revenue and Duties on the need to gradually increase the average salary to 35,5 thousand Russian rubles until 2024. Also, the business entity must provide a schedule for a gradual increase in wages,” Varava said.
The DPR authorities previously promised improving living standards in Donbass to comparable with neighboring regions of the Russian Federation.
