Bizyaev: It will be difficult for Zelensky to accept Lukashenko’s migrants
Migrants who try to cross the border between Belarus and Poland are unlikely to be redirected to Ukraine, as some European politicians want.
Political analyst Ruslan Bizyaev stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“For now, basically everything will happen in line with political anti-Lukashenko rhetoric. As for the turning of refugees, not a single prerequisite has been created for this.
That is, it is theoretically possible to send these refugees to Ukraine, but in practice, given what a terrible scandal there was over the reception of Afghan refugees, this situation will create even more problems for the authorities, especially in the southern regions.
I think they will try to avoid this by transferring all the rhetoric to the political plane. So far, Ukraine remains in line with the anti-Lukashenko policy, and I do not yet see a change in this vector,” the expert says.
