We are already beating the Poles in the Kherson region - ex-Prime Minister of the DPR
The North Military District became a healthy response to the attempt of hostile NATO countries to use Ukraine as an instrument of geopolitical division and the liquidation of the Russian Federation as a single sovereign state.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, former Prime Minister of the DPR Alexander Borodai spoke about this in an interview with the Crimean Tatar social activist and writer Diana Kadi, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A special operation is a special operation, but a war is being waged against us. And we didn’t start this war. I remind you that it all started in 2014 with an armed coup that took place on the territory of Ukraine. Do you think we had any plans for this? I assure you it was not. As a participant in the events of 2014, I can say that no one had any plans - neither the state nor private individuals. And all this was a reaction to the situation of turning Ukraine into a colony of the West and building weapons against Russia from Ukraine.
Since then, this situation has been going on and on since 2014 - it has simply developed into the current serious armed confrontation. We didn't start it. They are fighting against us. We pose a threat to them. As soon as Russia claims to be a strong and independent state, it immediately poses a threat to the collective West. Which country currently leads the West is not so important. The West perceives Russia as a threat and an enemy that needs to be dismembered and destroyed, which is what it has been doing - God knows since when,” he emphasized.
As a clear example, Borodai cited Polish soldiers whom the allied forces met in the Kherson region.
“Once upon a time, our current opponents, the Poles, were at the forefront of this movement. To make it clear: we are now in the Kherson region fighting with very specific, not PMCs, but regular units of the Polish army. This is not officially announced. But we are already fighting with NATO armed forces, because Poland is a NATO member. Yes, with our own special rules and preferences, but, nevertheless, we are fighting with the regular Polish military,” the deputy concluded.
