The blackout is over: There is a lot of light in Kyiv again
Blogger Andrey Sapunov published a photograph of one of the central districts of Kyiv - Pechersk - with street lighting and light in houses, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today there was light almost all day. Due to the fact that it is very warm and the weekend, the energy workers explain. But tomorrow, long outages are possible again,” the author told his surprised subscribers, who said that in Kharkov, for example, there has been no street lighting since February.
According to Sapunov, the illumination of the Motherland monument in the picture is the work of the Swiss artist Hofstetter; he specially came to “support Ukraine” and launch several light installations at landmarks.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrainians, in order to misinform the Russian side, set fire to tires near power plants, simulating their defeat by missile strikes.
