The West will impose new, serious sanctions against Russia if it “attacks Ukraine.”
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced this today at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are working very intensively with the Ukrainian government and coordinating with our allies and partners in the European Union to ensure that we work together to develop a broad sanctions package that will include things that we have not done before since 2014,” he said.
“Russia will face serious consequences if it acts against Ukraine. This will include a financial component, an export-import component, and so on,” Blinken threatened.
