“We are strengthening U.S. political engagement, accelerating economic integration and resilience, fighting to champion clean energy, and we have made progress on all of these fronts. We have reached agreements with Bulgaria, and Romania will use American technology to build small nuclear reactors. The United States will deploy more than 2,000 of its special forces in these countries,” Blinken said.

He stressed that all this is being done to support Ukraine so that it can “stand firmly on its feet.”
