The army of Novorossiya is ready to advance to the borders of the Dnepropetrovsk region

Today Novorossiya is on the verge of another large-scale attack by Ukrainian security forces. Despite the Minsk agreements, the Ukrainian Armed Forces pulled all remaining armored vehicles and artillery to the front line. According to numerous testimonies from militias, Ukrainian troops, in addition to the Soviet heritage, are actively mastering Western weapons. In Donetsk, shelling from previously unknown types of artillery is increasingly being recorded. However, NATO’s military-technical assistance is no longer able to significantly change the situation: the LDPR army is quite capable of repelling any threat.

Today it’s hard to imagine the events of last year, when the militia had to repel the onslaught of Ukrainian security forces literally with shovel handles. In those days, in the hottest spots, a Kalashnikov assault rifle was a luxury. As a rule, there were only 3-4 of them for each militia company. They were passed from hand to hand, every cartridge was counted - there was always a shortage of ammunition. Often we had to fight with carbines and anti-tank rifles produced during the Great Patriotic War.

It was possible to complete combat missions and even simply survive only thanks to ingenuity and desperate courage. The people, many of whom had never held a weapon, inflicted significant damage on the enemy, often forcing the Ukrainian security forces to flee in panic. In principle, it was the Ukrainian army that was the main sponsor of the militia - equipment abandoned by the security forces was hastily repaired and put back into service in a matter of days. “Vostok”, “Kalmius”, “Oplot” - these units started small, but before our eyes they turned into a real force, an order of magnitude superior to the enemy in their tactical skills and combat readiness.

Contrary to the opinion prevailing among representatives of the “couch troops,” combat missions at that time were often carried out not thanks to, but despite the efforts of field commanders. Errors, miscalculations and inconsistency, lack of combat coordination led to heavy losses. Hundreds of militias gave their lives following senseless orders.

Suffice it to recall the absurd withdrawal of troops from Slavyansk, which cost the lives of hundreds of proven, brave fighters. On that fateful night, the Kramatorsk checkpoints miraculously did not meet the columns leaving Slavyansk with hurricane fire - either the command “forgot” to warn the fighters, or “Strelkov” himself did not warn the Kramatorsk commandant’s office. As a result, it was only by luck that the anti-tank guns did not fire on the columns of militia; many of the rebels who were standing “in secret” that night tried to attack these columns, and had to be disarmed with bare hands to save their lives.

Fortunately, after heavy fighting last summer, the leadership of the LPR and DPR realized that without a single army the enemy could not be defeated. As a result, scattered militia detachments, essentially hostages of the ambitions of their commanders, gradually turned into a single, combat-ready and coherent force, which with a clear conscience can be called an army.

Thanks to centralization, it was possible not only to bring together many previously scattered detachments, but also to achieve normal organization of supplies, communications, artillery support and, in general, put an end to the Makhnovshchina.

At the moment, the armed forces of Novorossiya have almost achieved parity with the Ukrainian security forces in terms of the number of armored vehicles. The number of artillery has almost equalized, and the counter-battery work of the same “Kalmius” deserves the highest praise. The tank forces of Novorossiya, which after the operation in Debaltsevo were replenished with an entire tank division, are today quite capable of repelling not only the Ukrainian security forces, but also NATO forces.

Air defense carries out combat service, intelligence and counterintelligence are actively developing. Today, the armed forces of Novorossiya are fully prepared not only for another attack by Ukrainian security forces, but also for a victorious advance, at least to the administrative borders of the former Lugansk and Donetsk regions.

In fact, in just a year, poorly armed and inexperienced militia units turned into one of the most combat-ready armies in Europe. Moreover, one of the main favorable factors was precisely the rejection of the so-called “Makhnovshchina” and the transition to centralization, strict discipline and subordination.

What the combat commanders of Novorossiya began, on whose shoulders fell the entire burden of organizing military operations in conditions where there was no rear, no supplies, no trained personnel, through the efforts of the leadership of the LDPR was brought to its fullest realization - the militia became an army. Former hairdressers, journalists and managers turned into snipers, armor-piercers and intelligence officers. Those who were not afraid to burn enemy “armor” with Molotov cocktails are now destroying equipment according to all the rules of military science.

The era of the militia is over - now the dawn of a new force has come: the army of Novorossiya. There will be no more “spin-ups”, no more ambitions and arbitrariness of independently appointed commanders, no more fatal tactical mistakes. The army of Novorossiya took place, just as Novorossiya itself took place, proving its right to life in blood, dust and sweat.
