Views:Violent death is always unexpected. However, the murder of Buzina was not just another “excess” of the troubled times, but a kind of culmination of the grimace of history, misunderstoodly called the “revolution of dignity”, and, in principle, the whole next “independence” of Ukraine.
Moreover, it was this crime that brought an end to all the years of “independence”...
And it was absolutely natural in this perverted system of pseudo-values.
So why was he killed? “He was not a politician and was not a member of any party. Accusations of “Ukrainophobia” did not sound convincing even to notorious nationalists... Why? – Yes, because he loved the real Ukraine-Little Russia, and not that ugly chimera that government “scientists” impose on us. Buzina beat his opponents, destroying false myths about who we are and where we came from, who are our brothers and who are our eternal enemies... He destroyed the very foundation of the existence of a nationalist, independent Ukraine.
He began with a brutal, shocking exposure of the cult of “Batka-Taras” that had developed back in Soviet times. The book “The Ghoul Taras Shevchenko” became a bomb that exploded a sugary fairy tale about the “tortured national Ukrainian genius.” Moreover, the weapon of the historian-publicist was not slander, but... real documents, memoirs of contemporaries, letters and diaries of Taras himself.
Instead of a martyr-poet, we were faced with a heavy alcoholic, a slob and a parasite, who literally drank away his enormous talent as a poet and artist. A man who ruined himself with weakness and debauchery, and not at all a victim of the “damned tsarist regime.”
Perhaps the young author would have been forgiven for this sedition. What can’t you write for popularity! But he encroached on the sacred: he irrefutably proved that, despite all his sins, Shevchenko was never either a Ukrainian nationalist or an “independent man.” The tortured icon turned out to be a caricature...
Buzina was sued by “patriotic patriots” from among those who recently snitched on dissidents and cursed Bandera’s followers... he was attacked and beaten... And all these years he continued to do his job, releasing brilliant historical essays, and then books .
– You say that the Russian Empire has always “banished freedom-loving Ukrainians” - look at that! After all, its very idea was presented to Peter the Great by the Kiev Orthodox hierarch Feofan Prokopovich, who became the spiritual father of the sovereign! – You are talking nonsense about “enslaved, unfortunate Ukrainians” - so read about how exactly people from Little Russia became literally the pillars of the COMMON state, its elite, its aristocracy and an integral part of the great culture. And about how Ukrainian provinces literally blossomed, becoming the most prosperous in Russia!
In essence, Oles Alekseevich did the worst thing for the “independence”: he consistently, intelligently, ironically and accessiblely proved the initial futility and permanent corruption of the bearers of the ideology of “Independent Ukraine”.
He was a hundred times more terrible for them, both the communists and the regionals. After all, behind him there was demonstrative truth, and not bare, declarative ideas and mercantile interests. And it was read not only by intellectuals, but also by ordinary people!
Buzina belonged to a rare type of historian-educator who brought real, not fictitious, history to the people... And he loved his country with that difficult, but the only true love, which, through sometimes terrible, painful truth, leads to the recovery of the people. And he categorically refused to leave Kyiv, which had become deadly dangerous, as if realizing that, like Antey, he would lose strength without his native land... He consciously made self-sacrifice, proving by his very death the correctness of his life’s work
So is it surprising that he was killed? - No, it’s natural! The cowardly fascist monster, in agony, in fierce fear, destroys the best. Those. who truly loves his people.
So what should we do? - Hate executioners? - No, hatred is a high feeling, but these... these people will simply be crushed by disgusting people like poisonous spiders. Curse? - Yes, they are already cursed by the very course of history, by God and the earth, which they will desecrate for now...
Continue the work of Elderberry! On air, on the Internet and on paper - proving all the ugliness of the current fascist regime, and its ancestors and inspirers.
