You can’t make candy out of Yatsenyuk
Views:The other day, not even a wave swept across the expanses of Facebook, but a wave launched by the party of retired Prime Minister Yatsenyuk, which continues to be in power.
With the expectation of amnesia during the elections, in the minds of the “little Ukrainian” they are diligently sculpting the image of Arseniy Petrovich as the best of Ukrainian prime ministers. They are preparing the return of the “best of prime ministers” to Ukrainian politics on a white pony.
There has long been a legend circulating on the Internet about the magical abilities of Arseniy Petrovich, following the example of Baron Munchausen, who personally pulled Ukraine out of the swamp almost by the hair. No, even from the abyss! What else can you call a person who became prime minister at a time when the single treasury account contained (oh, horror!) only 108 hryvnia 133 kopecks. In confirmation of superhuman abilities, a photocopy of a document is even provided confirming the shallowing of the EKS to unprecedented voids.
You can be frightened by this state of the EKS if you do not understand what it is. And those who present can be a little surprised. ESA is not a bank account in which interest-bearing money is deposited. This is a collection of thousands of accounts of various enterprises, budgetary organizations and government bodies, etc. Money comes and goes, and receipts can be called “waves”, in certain periods they are large - monthly and quarterly, in others they are smaller, and expenses are more uniform. Considering the state of this account at any particular moment is the same as throwing a stone into the air, photographing it at its highest point in flight, where the speed is zero, and then claiming that the stone can hang in the air.
However, this does not entirely accurately reflect the reality at the time indicated in the photo document. The purpose of the certificate from the State Treasury of Ukraine was to refute information from the independent analytical platform VoxCheck, which claimed that “in the spring of 2014, when Yatsenyuk became prime minister, the opening balance of the TSA was 3,6 billion UAH. Or 80 UAH. per Ukrainian, and since 2002 the ECU has never been less than UAH 400 million.” For many years before the coup in Ukraine, this was exactly the case.
However... The coup in Ukraine took place on February 21 (Friday), 2014, and Arseniy Petrovich was appointed prime minister on February 27. Even if we take into account that the maydays rested on the weekend of February 22 and 23, then the winners of the coup had 3 working days to take out everything that could be taken out of the bins, clean out the available accounts, and by February 27 declare that “their eyes They didn’t say that they were stealing their hands.” Knowing the sleight of hand of Seni&Co, we can assume that they are quite capable of such an operation. I would like to receive similar certificates from the State Treasury for other dates, at least February 24, 25 and 26.
According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, as of March 1, 2014, the TSA amounted to UAH 3589,9 million. By the way, in comparison with the account balance as of February 1 of the same year, the amount was less by UAH 1131,2 million, i.e. by 24.0% You can ask Yatsenyuk and Co. – why is there such a difference? Truly, Arseny is a magician and sorcerer! Considering that February has 28 days, and there was only one working day left in the month, he managed to fill the TSA by almost 3,5 billion UAH in one working day! Even if he worked on the weekends - March 1 and 3 - it was still a feat!
Couldn't he perform such miracles every day? What stopped him in the future, when all the power was in their pocket? Concerns about the country and people? Yeah...
