Mozgova and medals “For Military Merit of Novorossiya”

The previous attempt on the life of the commander of the Prizrak brigade was carried out on March 7. Then Mozgovoy escaped with scratches. The next day, he held a press conference where he stated that he would not look for either the perpetrators or those who ordered the sabotage, and that the enemies would not be able to cause discord in the ranks of the militia.
Today’s murder exactly repeats the previous incident, but today machine-gun fire was used to kill – it was a deliberate murder. And I wouldn’t blame the enemy’s mythical DRGs for this - the scene of the incident is too far from the front line, and it’s not easy for the DRGs to hide in open areas.
In addition, in these places no one has heard about the enemy’s DRG for a long time (since last summer). And we haven’t heard anything from the Lugansk prosecutor’s office about the results of the investigation into the previous attempt on March 7.
As far as I know, Alexei Borisovich himself did not have any special enemies among the Ukrainian Nazis on the other side of the front, and there were no threats from the Ukrainian Armed Forces or punitive gangs towards Mozgovoy. And he was a famous man on both sides of the barricade fronts. They knew him in Kyiv, they knew him in Moscow, they knew him and loved him all over Russia.
Many Russian volunteers, by hook or by crook, tried to establish logistical support for the Prizrak brigade - after all, this militia formation was not on the payroll of the LPR. And out of 27 Russian humanitarian convoys, not a grain or a grain of sugar reached Alchevsk.
I myself have repeatedly seen how Russian customs officers literally prevented the transport of humanitarian goods through Gukovo and Izvarino.
Alexey Borisovich did not join the Lugansk police until the last moment. He did not agree with the policy of the leaders of the DPR-LPR, believing that only the state of Novorossiya and its united armed forces could bring victory over the enemy.
On April 11, the head of the LPR, Igor Plotnitsky, presented the Battle Banner of the XNUMXth Motorized Regiment to the commander of the First Cavalry Regiment named after Matvey Platov, Pavel Dremov.
Two days later I asked Mozgovoy: When will you invite me to present the battle flag of the LPR to the Prizrak brigade? He answered sharply but affirmatively: “Never.”
A few days later, analyzing what was happening, I wrote a note: «Mozgovoy started a riot.” "What are you doing? Do you want my death? – he called, demanding to soften the headline.
But a few days later, the brigade commander himself posted a message in his Odnoklassniki chronicle that he was openly threatened with murder for his intentions to hold the Victory Parade in Alchevsk.
By the way, the commander of the “Ghost” brigade nevertheless held a kind of parade on Victory Day on May 9. But in his short speech-address to his subordinates, Mozgovoy used the address “militia,” but not “comrade soldiers” or “comrade military personnel.”
And finally, I’ll tell you an interesting incident that I observed in Mozgovoy’s office on April 3, 2015 - just on the brigade commander’s fortieth birthday. On this day, a Russian volunteer from Ufa, Andrey Pestov, arrived in Alchevsk. Andrei Borisovich asked a guest from Bashkiria to order and produce medals “For Military Merits of New Russia” for his Heroes. Apparently, the commander knew that a soldier does not live by bread alone in war.
Such medals with certificates were made, and Alexey Mozgovoy found out about this literally yesterday, on the eve of his death.
