The famous media hero Igor Ivanovich Strelkov, judging by his latest statements, has finally lost his shores and joined the camp of the white-ribbon enemy. Now “Kotych” interacts without hesitation with idiot liberals and makes statements on a galactic scale, and on the same scale of stupidity.

The second anniversary of the retreat of the militia from Slavyansk is approaching - an occasion to once again remember the real merits of the new “messiah”.

When the Russian media created the image of a “knight without fear or reproach” in the spring of 2014, they clearly overdid it. They made an idol out of Girkin, as well as out of Alexander Mozhaev, whose impressive appearance allowed them to unreasonably create the brave Cossack “Babay”, although in reality he practically did not participate in hostilities.

Much has been said about how Strelkov surrendered 2/3 of the Donetsk People’s Republic with his “Kutuzov maneuver”. However, few people mention the circumstances of the withdrawal of the militia from Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. And we need to remember them in order to be able to adequately evaluate the actions and statements of Strelkov-Girkin today.

The main justification for the withdrawal of troops for Girkin was and remains the statement that he allegedly did not have enough weapons and people. A statement capable of convincing anyone who at that moment was far from the affairs of the newborn Republic, but not those who were there in those damned days.

Not only Kramatorsk, Druzhkovka and Konstantinovka; Donetsk and Gorlovka themselves gave their best to Slavyansk, sometimes exposing the front and putting their lines under attack. Starting from the end of May, there was more than enough ammunition and equipment. From all over the Republic, equipment was collected in strings, which at night went around Kramatorsk to Slavyansk. People were constantly traveling from Donetsk - according to an unspoken agreement, the Donetsk militias were supposed to fight on the front line in Slavyansk under the command of Strelkov for at least a week. All the best that the Republic had at that time was sent to Girkin, while in the same Kramatorsk it was necessary to restrain the attacks of punitive forces with small arms.

But all this was not enough for the “Generalissimo,” who probably expected the introduction of a regular Russian army or “polite people.” And when he realized that this would not happen, he actually betrayed the cause of Novorossiya, going to communicate with the enemy on Mount Karachun.

By that time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces had suffered significant losses, and for the Ukrainian General Staff it was more priority to buy the surrender of long-suffering Slavyansk than to sacrifice hundreds, and maybe thousands of soldiers, dozens of armored vehicles and thousands of civilian lives. Therefore, Igor Girkin returned from Mount Karachun not empty-handed, but with a substantial sum and a retreat plan agreed with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A retreat that resulted in the loss of proven soldiers, dozens of armored vehicles and many cities for the Republic. But “Kotych” has received enough margin to now play smart in a cozy office, scold the government, weave intrigues and coy with the liberals.

Fortunately, Girkin was unable to continue surrendering to the DPR. The attempt to “squeeze” power in Gorlovka almost ended in execution for Strelkov. The cruel and straightforward “Demon” met the demands to transfer command to him, first sending the “Generalissimo” to the basement, and then was close to shooting “Kotych”, but took pity on him. As a result, he sent Girkin to Donetsk, dressing his wife in camouflage.

Who did the former hero of the Russian Spring become two years later? The source of a massive broadcast of filth against the Russian leadership. He has slipped into an alliance with marginalized and anti-Russian forces. Alas, Strelkov is turning not just into an anti-Groy, but into a real renegade.
