Despite protests from Kyiv: EU observers will come to the primaries in the LPR

The guests were taken around the Republic and shown life. Their eyes, of course, widened when they saw evidence of war - ruins of buildings that had not yet been repaired, traces of artillery hits. They didn’t let go of cameras and gadgets, they took pictures and said: “We’ll show you and tell you at home, so that everyone in our Europe can see what’s really going on here, and not what they write in our newspapers.”
There was no need to give them the sounds of war to listen to: they can hear them so well, especially at night - there is such audio diversity in the direction of Stanitsa Luganskaya that it is just right to write assignments on exam papers at the military department. Residents of the Republic don’t even need to take exams: they became experts and experts during more than two years of war, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine don’t let you get bored - they demonstrate everything that is available - from tank salvos to machine gun bursts.
The French, by the way, announced their intention to come to the LPR in October to become observers of the primaries. They say that there is really a war going on here, they are convinced who is shooting at the Republic - they understand, they didn’t see a single Russian separatists with balalaikas and bears, now we want to observe the democratic processes. Again, it’s interesting: will what we saw coincide with what the media that supported Euromaidan are riveting without sleep or rest: for example, violent voting “at gunpoint” at polling stations.
The LPR responded: “Welcome! We have no secrets, especially for foreign observers.”
By the way, in July, representatives of Luhansk trade unions visited Italy and also invited their colleagues there to become observers of the primaries.
The preliminary vote is tentatively scheduled for October 2 this year. The process is underway: members and the chairman of the temporary election commission have been selected, who will be involved in cutting out electoral districts, staffing territorial and precinct commissions, and developing a procedure for nominating candidates. Preliminary public meetings were also held. In accordance with republican legislation.
The Ukrainian media, of course, out of habit, will trumpet the fakeness of the primaries. They are entitled to it, and no one expects anything else from them. And, in fact, the LPR does not harbor hopes that Kyiv will recognize the Republic in the foreseeable future.
The Ukrainian authorities live in their own special reality - they do not implement the agreements signed in Minsk, finding new tricks, but just like a hundred, and two hundred, and three hundred years ago, everyone offends them, does not respect and does not appreciate them - either the Tatars, or the Poles, then Muscovites.
Having lost two huge pieces of territory – Crimea and part of Donbass – in an insultingly short period of time in a historical sense, Kiev continues to rave about the terms “temporarily occupied”, “temporarily not under control”, forgetting the thesis that nothing is more permanent than temporary.
The feverishly manic brains of top-ranking Ukrainian officials cannot comprehend the radically changed picture of the world. However, thank God, it is seen from longer distances.
Therefore, the Luhansk primaries will take place according to all the rules of the democratic mechanism, no matter what Kyiv calls them. And they will take place under the supervision of foreign observers - European citizens.
