Yes. There is no one else to talk to and nothing to talk about. They are self-righteous imbeciles. But every time I remember that every exchange of prisoners takes place within the framework of the Minsk agreements. And let the Nazis block the “all for all” format. Let them call theirs “hostages” and ours “criminals.” But hope lives in us. Suddenly these brutes will free the Russians. At least the ones we know about.

I am often ashamed in front of the Luzhetsky brothers. Their fate is indistinguishable from the fate of each of us. And they didn't do anything that we didn't do. They fought Nazism as best they could and knew how. They organized anti-Maidan rallies, rallies and calls. Helped loved ones. Protected the weak. And, like many of us, we were forced to leave the territory of the former Ukraine in the spring of 2014. And like many of us, we returned for a couple of days to get our relatives out and finish things off. Since then, for more than two years, they have been sitting in the Ternopil pre-trial detention center. Now in Chertkovo, it seems. Simply because they are Russian, simply because they are not fascists, the court sentenced them to 13 and 14 years. You can’t really tell how much is Dima and how much is Yarik. It happens. The twin brothers have different terms according to the court's decision.

Their wives did not see them for two years. Children have been growing up without them for two years. And they pay with their lives for our right to be Russian.

All this could happen to any of us.

The brothers continue to fight. They are opposed by the judicial system of a totalitarian bandit state, with all its delights, in the form of Nazi gangs at court hearings. With threats of physical harm. With torture, in the end.

In July 2016, lawyers managed to overturn the verdicts and send the case for a new investigation. This is motivated by procedural violations during the detention, arrest and investigation. It was possible to obtain the recusal and replacement of the prosecutor. But all this is not a victory, but a new, next circle of Hell.

However, some amateur philosophers claim that all of Ukraine died in 2014 and is already in Hell. I just haven't fully realized it yet.

And now, when we argue about the prospects of “Minsk”, select levers and methods of pressure on Kyiv, we lose sight of the fate of people like the Luzhetsky brothers. Captured by enemies, betrayed by their father (it was their father who told the SBU where and how to catch his sons), they remain forgotten by us. Behind all our tactics and strategies, plans for offensive operations and diplomatic moves, we do not see the fate of those whom the junta continues to destroy in the territory it has captured.

But we ourselves declared that the Russians do not abandon their own.

So let's not quit.

And it doesn’t matter how our guys are released. Will it be a ransom, an exchange, or will our soldiers, stepping over the carcasses of the Nazis, open the gates of the Ukrainian-fascist prisons?

Although, the latter is preferable, because Evil must be punished.
