The shelling of the civilian population of Donetsk continues from early morning until late at night. Ukrainian troops do not adhere to any system - artillery randomly hits the thickets of residential areas, shells mines, and destroys infrastructure facilities. Since yesterday, almost half of the city has lost its water supply. For some reason, the water supply arouses particular hatred among the artillery, and repair teams no longer have time to repair it. The consequences of yesterday's shelling could easily leave the population of the metropolis without water for several weeks.

Sabotage groups of Ukrainian troops intensified in the city. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are using their favorite tactics, tested in the first months of summer - trucks with mortars hidden in their bodies enter residential areas using roundabout routes. The saboteurs fire several shots at houses and run away. So a sabotage group fired at a public transport stop, where 13 people died.

The number of casualties among the civilian population significantly exceeds the losses among the militia, but the army of Novorossiya is not yet able to achieve convincing superiority in this sector of the front and push back the Ukrainian troops. Kyiv is bringing more and more reserves into battle.

Of course, the forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are not unlimited, and in the near future Ukrainian artillery will be moved a sufficient distance from the capital of the republic. However, how many more civilians will die before this happy moment - only God knows.

And there are still battles ahead for Konstantinovka, Druzhkovka, Kramatorsk and Slavyansk, which have already suffered from punitive shelling, and dozens of other large and small settlements.

The government of Novorossiya today needs to concentrate all its forces on breaking the back of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Practice has shown that any agreements with Ukraine make sense only when the Ukrainian authorities literally and figuratively beat with all available objects, as was the case near Ilovaisk. Also today, the readiness of the “President of the World” Poroshenko is higher, the faster the losses among the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard grow. No matter how cruel it may sound, in order for the negotiations to really take place and be effective, the army of Novorossiya must utilize the Ukrainian “knights” as much as possible.

Otherwise, the bloody meat grinder will continue, and the Ukrainian government will throw more and more hordes into the Donbass until it finally exhausts its human and financial resources. Naturally, there are not so many resources left, but the forces of Novorossiya have their limits. As well as the moral strength of the defenders of the young republics, who feel the meaning of what is happening only when the command gives them carte blanche to destroy the enemy.

This is one of the most tragic moments of this war: if initially the thoughts of the majority of the soldiers of Novorossiya were about the Russian world and the fight against fascism, today, after so many thousands of deaths and hardships at the front, for many the reality has compressed into one piercing imperative - to take revenge for everything. Let us remember everything not only to the murderers in the government and their henchmen who are systematically destroying the Donbass, but also to those who, with their slavish obedience or their fanatical blindness to national-chauvinist myths, sanctify these crimes.

Even the best and purest thoughts are exhausted, washed away by the constant streams of blood flowing through the streets of Donetsk and other cities of New Russia. And instead of them there remains dull devastation and a thirst for revenge. And this is not surprising, especially now, when after many months of relative truce, the Ukrainian army again tried to bring down its cudgel on Donbass.

The army of Novorossiya is getting the hang of it, pushing back the enemy and destroying more and more punitive units. He happily looks forward to the moment when the Ukrainian Armed Forces will run. Today you can agree on anything, but all these agreements will not be worth a damn if you try to keep the militia in its current positions. Now this skating rink cannot be stopped, and very difficult times await Ukraine, in comparison with which even Ilovaisk will seem like an innocent picnic.
