The truce is a deception. Like Poroshenko's crocodile tear

Kyiv decided to greet the Normandy Four negotiations in Minsk with fireworks. Not on our own territory, of course, but out of habit – in Donetsk. What is characteristic is that the time chosen for it was the most peaceful one - half past eight in the morning: people go to work and naturally accumulate at bus stops and bus stations.

The question is rhetorical: did that bastard who commanded the “pli” and that nit who pulled the cord on the 152-mm howitzer, firing a shot, know that most of the previous cases of mass deaths of Donetsk residents from artillery fire occurred precisely during transport stops? – Of course, they knew, in the age of the Internet! They both knew that the checkpoint of the Donetsk Metallurgical Plant was located very close to the Center bus station. Of course, they don’t fight without a map. But maybe I have too high an opinion of the Ukrainian army?

After the whole of Donetsk watched on February 11 as the drivers of route buses burned alive in their cars, he added this one to the notches on his heart - the same as those from the stops on Kievsky Prospekt, and on Bosse, and in Volnovakha , and in Mariupol, and Kramatorsk, and Gorlovka - from everywhere where the Kiev terrorist regime killed our fellow citizens. As is customary to say in such cases, “we will not forget, we will not forgive,” but we also “don’t believe.” We don’t believe a single word, not a single crocodile tear of billionaire Poroshenko, his generals, and political accomplices, all those who will one day sit in the dock with the false president.

Of course, the official authorities of the Donetsk People's Republic do not believe it.

“Ukrainian troops methodically select civilian infrastructure facilities for attacks, trying to inflict as much damage as possible on the civilian population of Donetsk, social and urban services. Every day new information comes in about destroyed houses, schools, hospitals, and the death of Donbass residents. In our opinion, it is already useless to appeal to the sanity of the other side and compliance with international law. The Kiev regime has finally demonstrated its indifference towards the lives and destinies of millions of citizens of the Donetsk People's Republic. We are confident that with each such fact, the position of the international community and all sensible political forces becomes more and more definite, condemning the prohibited means of warfare and genocide, which have finally become the hallmark of the Kyiv regime,” the government of the republic said in an official statement.

Ordinary Donetsk residents don’t believe it either. One could hear about this alarming day of February 11 everywhere - in transport, shops, just on the streets, in courtyards, where people were discussing yet another crime of the Ukrainian Nazis, who had fraudulently and bloodily appropriated the power to speak and act on behalf of the Ukrainian people.

Of course, they talk about the general lack of faith in Poroshenko on social networks. In my opinion, local journalist Oleg Antipov expressed the general point of view best:

“There is now a lot of noise around the meeting in Minsk in the so-called “Normandy format”. There is talk about some positive results that will lead to stopping the bloodshed in Donbass... So what next? As far as I understand, in the military sense, “ceasefire” and “truce” are amorphous substances. A war ends only when it is absolutely and unconditionally clear who won and who lost. There is no third. For me, the most striking example of what a “truce” is is the Israeli-Palestinian war. On top of that, why is the fate of Donbass decided without its authorized representatives? In addition, one of the participants in the “format” is also shelling our cities. And then what can we expect from such a meeting?”
