It's time to understand: Donbass cannot be strangled with trousers
Views:If Kyiv intends to preserve the integrity of the country, then, logically speaking, it is simply obliged to jump out of its trousers and demand the mandatory participation of representatives of the LPR and DPR in coordinating the issues of constitutional reform in Ukraine and local elections in the Donbass.
At the same time, by and large, it does not matter what definitions-articles appear in the Constitution - autonomy, federal structure, or even a feudal principality. It is important that Donbass, if it agrees to become a vassal, will be special, authoritative and respected.
By the way, DPR plenipotentiary Denis Pushilin noted in an interview with the Interfax agency that amendments to the law on the special status of Donbass, adopted by the Verkhovna Rada, contradict paragraph 12 of the Minsk agreements.
The question arises: have the people's deputies of the Verkhovna Rada familiarized themselves with the text of the Minsk Protocol? And if you read it, then why did you read it in the pose “And Vaska listens and eats”?
You can forget for a moment about Kyiv’s passionate desire to fight, fight and fight again. You can imagine for a moment that yes: elections to local councils in Donbass will be held according to the laws of Ukraine. I will predict the process and result with XNUMX% confidence.
The landscapes of the streets of cities and towns of Donbass will be diluted with billboards with images of all sorts of Right Sector-Poroshenko-Yatsenyuks, they will flash on television screens. Meetings of candidates with voters will be difficult, if, of course, they take place: the electorate, which has survived shelling and has just emerged from the basements, is an explosive people. Punitive battalions under the auspices of the Ukrainian candidate, trying to build a playground in a Lugansk courtyard or distribute buckwheat - no matter how they spoil their camouflage. Attempts to mess up the counting of votes on the night after the elections are also useless tools. Nationalist canoe like “Ukraine is over!” it won’t fire here, because they’ve already shot, they’ve been shooting for a year and they’re continuing.
In a word, external advertising will not work, but will only harm candidates. But even if it happens that all these pravoseki-Poroshenko-Yatsenyuks (representatives) break into the local councils, then there will be about two percent of them, or even one in the deputy corps, and they will make the difference only at sessions under television cameras. Because yellow-and-white flags and flash mobs in embroidered shirts absolutely do not contribute to filling local budgets, and therefore to solving daily problems and pressing problems of the community - roads, the condition of housing, tariffs, pricing.
Kyiv should remember that the Maidan lawlessness was rejected by Donbass from the very beginning - this is immunity to external interference in the life of the country.
Kyiv should go with a soft paw and on the sly. Pay pensions, social benefits and salaries. Remove the economic blockade. Renew the banking system, open registers.
Show your palm! Don't back! Palm! Reach out for a friendly handshake. Or friendly. Affiliate. Business. In Minsk for long hours, including with the leaders of France and Germany - the coveted Europe! – they wrote out and coordinated every letter, every finger and nail, the palms of peace and reunion.
So who has blood on their hands? Who doesn't want to unclench their fist and open their palm?
