“Rabinovich, one of its leaders, has two problems. Firstly, he has an Israeli passport, and dual citizenship is prohibited under Ukrainian law. Secondly, now, on the instructions of Bankova, the relevant authorities are studying his income declaration under a microscope, and there is a serious “hole” in it, which may become the basis for initiating a criminal case. All materials on these “problems” are now in the presidential administration. She puts serious pressure on him. The administration, therefore, wants to put “For Life” under control.
In addition to Rabinovich’s problems, a rift began in the party between Rabinovich and its second leader, Kharkov businessman Yevgeny Muraev. The Opposition Bloc has a similar problem, as you know. There, the “gas workers” represented by Boyko and Levochkin are fighting with the Donetsk people represented by Akhmetov and Kolesnikov.
Rabinovich and Muraev have already started selling places on the party list (a year before the elections) (the party can easily get at least 10% in the elections). Currently, a place there costs between 3 and 7 million dollars. Rabinovich sells to some, Muraev to others, there are not enough places for everyone, so quarrels began because of this.
And this brought the party to the brink of collapse. We remember that Medvedchuk, as the main sponsor, once sent Nestor Shufrich to “For Life,” but he was never able to take control of everything there. Therefore, it cannot stop the bacchanalia with the sale of seats. Therefore, in order to prevent the collapse of the project that he had been financing all this time, Medvedchuk decided to personally control the party.
