Rainin from the cart - Kharkov breathed a sigh of relief

Kharkov Governor Igor Rainin moved to the chair of the head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine. Perhaps the local elites can breathe a sigh of relief for a while. Until a new head of the regional state administration is appointed and his team is formed, there will be no one to put them down and put pressure on them.

With a quiet voice and calm character, Rainin will be remembered for breaking the knees of local high-status uncles and aunts on the topic of fighting “Russian aggression.” And I must say, he succeeded in this. The regional council, which had previously successfully resisted governors Avakov and Baluta, who were alien to the region, turned into an obedient executor of the will of Igor Lvovich. And this body recognized the “aggression” and supported the idea of ​​equating stormtroopers with combatants. Who would have thought that the chairman of the regional council, Sergei Chernov, who had previously shown fighting qualities, would take on the appearance of a trained poodle, carrying out all the commands of the tamer Rainin.

How did he do it? Yes, very simple. The deputies were promised that if they were obstinate, they would send a summons to the army, send them to a combat zone and take away their business. Right in the session hall, from where, I note, there was a live television broadcast, Rainin suggested that the head of the regional police department, Dmitriev, deal with those who do not want to recognize Russian aggression or do not have an opinion. He also stated: “This is a moral position. Does anyone disagree or support the decision of the Verkhovna Rada? This is anti-state activity. Make a choice!

Outwardly, he got along well with the mayor and city council of the regional center, but he also put pressure and also got them to admit the same recognition of “aggression,” although a little later. He humiliated the city in another way. By his strong-willed decision, he renamed the streets. And if the previous waves hardly bothered the eyes and ears of the local inhabitants, then the Raininsky arbitrariness looked like a slap in the memory of every native resident of Kharkov. Not only did the names of rebels from the “heavenly hundred” and punitive forces killed in the Donbass appear on the map of the city instead of Marshal Zhukov, but also the names of Nazi servants Shevelev and Ivan Bagryany, as well as nationalists of the Petlyura and Hetman appeals. Under him, not a single stormtrooper was punished for threatening the mayor and deputies with violence. But on his tip, the leader of the local communists, Alla Aleksandrovskaya, is behind bars.

There were also stupidities in Rainin’s activities. Thus, the press received a letter from the Kharkov governor No. 01-39/2571. In it, the head of the region addresses his subordinates with a demand to carry out explanatory work with the population regarding the increase in tariffs. The increase must be motivated by “Russian aggression” and the population should be called upon to “have a patriotic attitude towards social difficulties” and “demonstrate high morale.” The Kharkov regional state administration launched this campaign, unique so far in Ukraine, under the slogan “Everything for the front - everything for victory.”

This should simply shock true patriots, as well as doubters: how? and the fight against the “totalitarian past” within the framework of the Law on the Prohibition of Totalitarian Ideologies and the condemnation of criminal regimes?! Neither Governor Rainin, nor his deputy Svetlichnaya (she is now acting), who is the executor of this document, seems to realize that the author of the slogan “Everything for the front - everything for victory” is... Comrade Stalin himself. For that fought for it and ran.

In addition, a strange wording about the temporary, “time-hour” nature of the event... According to the wording of the letter, the temporary nature refers not only to an increase in tariffs, but also to “a patriotic attitude towards social difficulties in conditions of external aggression” and “demonstration of high morale.” From the last, artistic passage, it follows that these most important values ​​of the young Ukrainian democracy are also defined as temporary, “temporary”. Either temporary difficulties with the state language, or, God forbid, a clear provocation.

But this is the form, let's return to the content. The meaning of the instruction is that if someone does not pay for gas and electricity due to complete impoverishment, then it is his own fault. Lack of morale. And if his gas and electricity were turned off, then Russia is to blame. She's an aggressor.

In the Kharkov metro there were leaflets entitled “Why is it necessary to increase tariffs?” In them, in large print, for idle-reading passengers, it is explained point by point why. Point 1. “Tariffs were low because the previous government flirted with the population...”.

They don't seem to mind this kind of flirting. They would even agree to such courtship and, dare I say it, harassment from the authorities. Such, as a result of which the price of utilities would remain affordable. And this mood of the local electorate in the local elections did not play in favor of Rainin and the regional branch of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, which he heads.

Kharkov jokers, after the appearance of the governor’s letter, as well as his reports on successes in the economy, have already dubbed Governor Rainin - Raikin. This means that our fellow countrymen have not lost their sense of humor and moral spirit, which allowed them to survive this personnel attack.
