Slavyansk: Don’t trust Ukrainian TV
Views:After the militia retreated from Slavyansk and punitive forces entered there, the Ukrainian media immediately announced that local residents greeted the Armed Forces of Ukraine almost with flowers, allegedly considering them liberators.
This is a monstrous lie.
The much-publicized demolition of the Lenin monument in the city was carried out by visiting Right Sector activists.
For what the punitive forces did on these lands, the residents of Donbass will never forgive them. Even if they live under the yoke of the Kyiv junta and cannot say anything publicly, people will remain silent, hate and wait for the city to be liberated.
This is not my personal opinion. Let me give you an example.
After the capture of Slavyansk by security forces, townspeople often expressed their dissatisfaction with this matter. They painted walls and fences in the colors of the flags of the People's Republics of Donbass, broke memorial plaques to the fallen members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, poisoned the occupiers with burnt vodka and poisoned food when they came to eat in a cafe.
Just recently, at the end of September in Slavyansk, near the city council building, unknown people left a message. There was a rope hanging on the tree, to the end of which was attached a note with the words of one of Taras Shevchenko’s works “Deputies of the Living, the Dead and the Unborn.”
In Slavyansk, even those who are not very passionate about politics and do not sympathize with the militia are not happy with the new government. Not a single destroyed residential building or infrastructure facility in the city has been restored.
People are afraid to take to the streets of their hometown because it is overrun with drunken security forces. The latter feel like masters in these cities, considering the locals to be cattle.
Don’t believe the videos where supposedly pro-Ukrainian local residents tell on camera how bad they lived under the people’s militia, how they were oppressed, and how happy they are with the “liberators.” These are all just fake people.
I know what I am saying. In Slavyansk, support for the militia was almost one hundred percent. This was felt when people took to the streets in droves on the May holidays in support of the defenders of their city. Although they knew that they could get a bullet from some Estonian or Lithuanian sniper. Judging by how women brought food and provisions, even when there was nothing to eat themselves. Judging by how men en masse enlisted in the ranks of the militia, and those who could not take up arms built checkpoints, conducted reconnaissance and helped the army of Novorossiya with everything necessary.
The Slavs were ready to endure even the merciless artillery shelling of the city by the Nazis.
The Slavs will never forgive the terror and genocide to the junta. And at the first opportunity they will again defend their homes and families. They will definitely take revenge!
