Ukrainians! Well, you've made yourself happy!

Views:

The closer the heating season is, the more generous the Ukrainian government is with its promises. However, there is no promise of Europe and a visa-free regime this coming weekend.

But it is necessary to say something, to create the appearance of well-being and prosperity is necessary, because every day it is more and more difficult to confidently sit on the throne and not a week goes by without a rally near the Verkhovna Rada.

The chatterbox and professional liar Yatsenyuk used an old populist trick, verified to the micron - he promised to increase wages, pensions and social benefits. Of course, he did this in his characteristic, one might say, signature manner, suggesting ways to retreat and trump cards for excuses: they say, the government introduced the law for discussion in the Verkhovna Rada, but how the deputies will vote is unknown and, in general, ask the deputies , and I am white and fluffy, as always.

What the prime minister cannot be denied is his talent for fooling around.

Upon closer examination and basic analysis, you understand that the generosity is scanty, and looks more like alms than a real financial addition to the more than modest incomes of the same doctors and teachers.

Judge for yourself: the minimum wage will increase by as much as 160 hryvnia and amount to 1378 hryvnia. What is 160 hryvnia? Yes, with that amount of money you don’t have to go to the supermarket or the market; at best, it’s enough for a loaf of bread and a kilo of decent sausage.

At the same time, we should not forget that the market instantly reacts to any material increase, and prices for food and popular consumer goods immediately rise, instantly, the very prices that the government is unable to regulate or maintain.

For all positions, the prime minister gave a hundred or two to pensioners, disabled people, students. More went to teachers, doctors, social workers and cultural workers from 300 to 600 hryvnia, and then categories and other aspects will be taken into account, which significantly narrow the circle of lucky ones.

Again, one cannot help but notice the selectivity and one-sidedness in the selection of citizens benefited by the government. What was wrong with a trolleybus driver and a school cleaner, an unemployed university graduate and an equally unemployed person of pre-retirement age, pensioners whose pension exceeds the minimum by several hryvnia?

Obviously, not everyone will be lucky, and barely a quarter of the population will be on the list of handout recipients.

At the same time, in the country of the victorious Maidan, the scheme works smoothly - I give with one hand, I take away with the other, and the most merciless lever remains tariffs for housing and communal services. People unsuccessfully appeal to management: lower tariffs, they eat up more than half of income. The Yatsenyuks have only one answer: “Tse is Europe, but we are Europe!” If you wanted to live like a European, so live it, citizens who have galloped.

The heating season is approaching. For the second month, Kyiv has been telling us that there is no coal and insinuatingly warns of impending rolling blackouts. It’s a paradox – in the war-torn Donbass, under conditions of blockade, major and minor sabotage on the part of Ukraine – last winter the heating was never turned off, electricity was never lost in the houses of Lugansk residents.

No, I'm lying. Last week we sat without power for three hours at night, and emergency services worked until dawn.

The leadership of the LPR has identified the mandatory availability of water, heat, electricity as a priority task, and no excuses will be accepted. The control is strict, the technical services work in “ambulance” mode and the townspeople will never get used to the fact that, after so many years of carelessness, a break in, for example, water networks is eliminated within a few hours, and after a few days road crews arrive at the scene of the accident. services and patching up the damaged asphalt. This has never happened in my life in the last 24 years!

Tariffs for housing and communal services also remained at the same pre-war level. Only electricity jumped, and that’s because Donbass is powered by the common energy market, that is, it cannot set its own price.

Well-wishers are slandering the supply of water on schedule. Indeed, water appears in taps at a certain time for 5-6 hours. This time is enough to redo all household chores and stock up. Lugansk has to save its own resources, because the main water intake stations are located on the territory occupied by Ukrainian troops, and for warriors there is no greater pleasure than turning off the city’s tap.

“The main thing is that there is water every day,” say the townspeople who lived through a terrible six weeks in a dehydrated and de-energized city a year ago. “And it doesn’t have to be dragged from afar under shells and mines.”

– I will not allow any tariff increases and any disconnections for debts. Negotiate with people, study the situation, offer people options. We must understand that the majority do not have stable and sufficient incomes now, so draconian methods are not our method of work,” said the head of the LPR, Igor Plotnitsky, at one of the meetings with the heads of public utility services.

So why did you jump, dear Ukrainians?
