War on Makhnovshchina: Next up is “Khmury”
Views:Novorossiya continues to format its armed forces, turning the militia into a single army. Of course, not everyone likes such metamorphoses - the militia is much nicer to many than strict discipline and subordination in the army. It is especially difficult for those who until recently had practically unlimited power to integrate, not always using it for the benefit of the republic.
In the process of creating unity of command, the DPR has already lost many recognizable faces and field commanders - only the special services know where “Babai” or “Bes” is now. Apparently, in the foreseeable future the republic may well lose another recognizable face - the head of DPR intelligence, General Sergei Petrovsky, in the recent past - a great friend and faithful ally of Strelkov.
Petrovsky, aka “Gloomy” and aka “Bad Soldier”, is one of the ideologists of the Victory Parade in Donetsk, which caused a stir, in which Ukrainian prisoners were led. However, recently he has almost openly opposed himself to the leadership of the republic, making statements of a critical nature.
This fighter has already repeatedly poured his “truth” on the Vostok battalion, along with its commander Khodakovsky, and the head of the DPR government, Zakharchenko.
It even got to the point of physical strife. A group of armed men from Khmury disarmed the Vostok fighters, shot at their feet and, putting them on the ground, tastefully beat their unarmed comrades. As a result, two Vostok fighters had their heads smashed with rifle butts and then released without receiving medical assistance.
“Khmury” himself, despite the truth-fighting interviews, based on the testimony of his subordinates, was repeatedly involved not only in the “squeezing out” of the turnkey business, but also in the transportation of coal from the “digs” to Ukraine.
There was a time when in the DPR only the lazy did not do push-ups. In particular, “Babay,” famous for his appearances in the media, supervised this area in Kramatorsk for some time. If it was possible to “squeeze out” something, they went to “Babai”, who was subordinate to the headquarters, which was subordinate to “Strelkov”, who had the GRU with “Khmury” at its head. But Comrade “Gloomy” never offended his colleague and never held him accountable. Although, at the same time, as soon as the head of the Kramatorsk Anti-Crisis Council, Tsvely, correctly asked market owners to transfer taxes not to the Ukrainian treasury, but to the DPR budget, he instantly found himself in the “basement.”
In general, there is another offended commander who has not yet grasped the idea that one must fight not for oneself, not for one’s own ambitions, but for the sake of a common cause. It’s a pity for the former highly respected militiaman, who never managed to integrate into the state and dreams of preserving the militia freemen.
