Armed mission from Poroshenko: We will not let enemies into Donbass!
Views:Petro Poroshenko’s idea of introducing an armed contingent into Donbass under the guise of “OSCE missions” is fuel to the fire of war, an inevitable escalation of the conflict.
Today, the main task is to force Kyiv to fulfill the obligations already fixed in the Minsk agreements. Poroshenko is trying to shift his responsibility onto other representatives whom he is trying to lure to Donbass.
How will the new bloody scenario be implemented? I think that the attraction of an “armed mission” is being done in order to bring a certain number of EU citizens here and, accordingly, sacrifice them in order to begin full-scale armed action.
I am more than sure that if Poroshenko’s idea is implemented, this mission will suffer losses, because the current regime will stop at nothing. We saw very well that for him human life is worthless - not only for the residents of Donbass, but also for Kyiv and other regions of the country.
Therefore, I am sure that no armed “missions” will be allowed on the territory of the republics. Any attempts to cross our borders will receive an adequately tough response from the armed forces of the republics.
There are guarantors who signed the Minsk agreements. France and Germany have influence on Poroshenko; they have the power to force him to fulfill his obligations.
Another thing, apparently, in Paris and Berlin they do not fully understand what is in Poroshenko’s head. European naivety is astonishing - how can one continue to take the word of the Ukrainian president against the backdrop of more and more deaths in the South-East!
We are still ready to start negotiations. However, Ukraine completely refuses dialogue, declaring Donbass “terrorists.”
It’s paradoxical, but today you can support Savchenko - she turned out to be the most sane of all the inadequate ones and voiced a solution to the conflict - direct negotiations, which Russia has been offering for two years.
When politicians speak, the guns are silent, and if the guns are silent, then the lives of civilians are saved. Here, it’s probably worth supporting Savchenko and trying to take advantage of this moment.
I don’t know what motivates Savchenko now, but I can only say one thing - probably those two years that she spent, as she herself claims, in solitary confinement made her think, and she understood what led to what.
Let me remind you that it was she who led a unit of the Aidar battalion into battle, in which they killed almost entirely Ukrainian militants. It was Savchenko who then commanded her like-minded people.
I think she realized that there is no point in going against people who are defending their home. We have nowhere to retreat. We will not allow enemies in and will stand for our land to the last.
But we are still ready for direct dialogue.
