The only thing that these plans have in common is their coincidence with Henry Kissinger’s theses on resolving the situation in Ukraine and normalizing relations with Russia, published in the tabloid Bild. While the current regime insists on its own and spouts the usual nonsense about fighting “Russian aggression” and “defending the democratic world,” smarter representatives of the Ukrainian political establishment are already trying to adapt to the new broom. And it is quite possible that they will succeed, since in order to end the civil war and return Ukraine to the appearance of a normal state, it is indeed easier for Washington to change power in Ukraine than to try to remove the pots from the heads of the “Maidan cadres” obsessed with Svidomism and Russophobia.
Negotiations between the United States and the Russian Federation will soon show which scenario the reconciliation of Ukraine will follow, but Poroshenko and the “revolutionaries” clearly look like a played card in this situation. As for Ukraine, any of the options for resolving the crisis will be positive for it. Because it simply can’t get any worse.
