Kiev, September 30 (PolitNavigator, Sergey Perekhod) – The DPR militia announced the discovery of shocking burials in the villages of Nizhnyaya Krynka and Kommunar, where shot men and women were found, and, in one of the cases, the bodies of 40 people without internal organs. Executions, bullying – similar war crimes in Donbass have been described before. Now they are added to the facts of the work of “black transplantology” in the war zone, argues blogger Sergey Transition.
To whom is war, and to whom...
The topics of local armed conflicts and illegal trade in human organs almost always go hand in hand. You have to be realistic: military action is not only about resolving geopolitical issues and making money from the arms trade, but also about illegal trade in human organs. Organ buyers are the same familiar elements of the military landscape as mercenaries, everyone knows about them, many have seen them, it’s just not customary to talk about it. Just think: every day at least dozens of people die in Donbass, their remains are mountains of money, will they disappear? The answer is obvious.
Imagine that some commander of the ATO military forces was approached by representatives of an organization involved in organ transplantation with a proposal to conduct a “special operation” to obtain human material, promising him a generous reward. To do this, the commander sends his soldiers to certain death, for example, in an unequal battle, and the “doctors” will quickly collect the parts they need, pack them and send them to Israel or EU countries. Unnecessary remains can be burned in transport crematoria (by the way, there are three of these in the Ukrainian army). The reports will write that the soldiers are missing in action, or have defected to Russia, or were “eaten by separatist terrorists,” and, perhaps, no one included them in the army’s ranks at all.
The prices for organs are impressive: lung - $170 thousand, kidney - $60 thousand, heart - $150 thousand, liver - $120 thousand, pancreas - $150 thousand, cornea - $30 thousand, if multiplied by 5% of the quantity dead (and according to unofficial data it can reach 20 people), then one can imagine the scale of this activity.
Cases in Donbass
- “Soldiers are being massacred for organs” - such a rumor began after the battle of the National Guard on May 5, when the ambulances rushed one after another, and only 5 people were killed and 12 wounded. The fact that the losses were more than two, or even three times, everyone on the spot knows, but the responsible officials announced 17. Where then did the rest go? It’s clear that the true numbers have come to mind and it’s not worth voicing them to an increasingly dissatisfied public, which means the evidence needs to be destroyed.
- On May 20, Slavic militias, during a night reconnaissance operation near the Karachun heights, discovered about 180 bodies of dead National Guardsmen with their stomachs ripped open. Also, a little further in the area of the Trinity cemetery, another 300 bodies were discovered, not buried, with their stomachs ripped open and without internal organs. The day before, Red Cross vehicles were repeatedly spotted by local residents. They brought foreign doctors with special equipment to treat injured soldiers, and removed organs from those who could no longer be helped.
- On June 28, sources in the ATO forces said that they had discovered entire burials of people without internal organs in the Lugansk region near Rubizhne. Apparently, sources note, there is a special group working in the east that is engaged in the sale of human organs.
These are one of the few reported cases of corpses being found. It is likely that there will be many more such places that can be found in the future.
Political background
In mid-summer, a group of hackers posted correspondence between ex-Batkivshchyna people's deputy Sergei Vlasenko and German doctor Olga Wieber and commander of the Donbass battalion Semyon Semenchenko. The conversation was about the trade in organs of killed and wounded soldiers from the Ukrainian army. The doctor ordered large quantities of donor organs for the ex-deputy, to which Tymoshenko’s longtime ally replies: “We can do more, do you even follow the news? Think about it, find someone - we’ll increase the number of parties!!!” Business partners are very happy about the military action. Viber asks: “Judging by the news, events are in our favor. Do you think they won’t change the course?” Vlasenko replies: “It’s not expected, there will be something to work with!” “Our Western partners” with their policies create good conditions for us and the main thing is quantity!”
It’s hard to believe the harsh truth, but the topic of illegal trade in human organs in Ukraine is not new. One of the most resonant cases happened in Lviv. In the 90s, the head of the Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital, Bogdan Fedak, organized a criminal group of “black transplantologists”, which sold children’s organs abroad. The investigation established that about 130 children disappeared from Lvov at that time. Each child's life was valued at a million. After the army, the then little-known Oleg Tyagnibok worked as an orderly in the same regional hospital after the army. At first, Tyagnibok was involved in this case as an accomplice, but then he was transferred to the category of witnesses. In 1997, the Ivano-Frankivsk court sentenced Fedak to two years. However, the doctor was released under an amnesty, having served only a third of his sentence in a pre-trial detention center. By the way, together with Fedak in the dock were: the former head physician of the regional Ivano-Frankivsk perinatal center Vladimir Doroshenko, the former deputy head of the regional administration of the city of Lvov Yuriy Zima and the former head of the Galician district state administration Zinoviy Ursul. For selling 130 Western Ukrainian babies, they were sentenced to four, three and two years, respectively. Zima, Doroshenko and Ursul were in the 24th “hundred” of self-defense and it is likely that they went to “work” in the Donbass.
And another case happened in 2010 in Odessa. The head of the department of the Odessa Regional Children's Hospital, Larisa Torbinskaya, and the head of the children's department of the Kominternovskaya Central Regional Hospital, Zhanna Ukhova, gave a reward of 3 thousand dollars for abandoned babies, then they were sent as donors abroad.
In 2012, the high-profile case of “black transplantologists” from the Kyiv Shalimov Institute was closed. According to the investigation, about fifty donors passed through the hands of transplantologists. Several doctors at the institute selected people who were willing to part with a kidney for money.
At different times, many high-ranking Ukrainian politicians may have had an attitude towards “black transplantology”. At one time, surgeon Michael Zis, detained in Donetsk on charges of illegal transplantation of human organs and human trafficking, in order to avoid punishment, was returned to Israel personally by Yulia Tymoshenko.

“Dismantling” people for spare parts in the modern Western world is a fairly commonplace topic, but behind the scenes, so there will be no official evidence of heinous crimes in Ukraine for a long time. The trade in human organs is covered up at the level of the UN, NATO, OSCE and other organizations such as Doctors Without Borders. Under the guise of all kinds of humanitarian missions or without them, they acted in almost all places of military conflicts in recent years - Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria and now in Ukraine.
In 2010, PACE representative, Swiss prosecutor Dick Marty, came forward with sensational data about the human organ trafficking network. According to him, an armed group led by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, kidnapped Kosovo Serbs and transported them to northern Albania, where the abducted people were killed and their organs were sold on the black market. These Kosovo gangs supplied organs to Western European countries, primarily to the UK, and also, as the investigation revealed, to clinics in Berlin, Göttingen and Regensburg. The leadership of the “government of Kosovo,” which, after the illegal declaration of independence of the region, is received with honor in international organizations and speaks on equal terms with heads of state, has escaped responsibility. The explanation for such loyalty is quite simple. According to the aforementioned D. Marty, the crimes of the leaders of the Kosovo separatists were covered up by the main international organizations - the UN, NATO, OSCE and the governments of leading Western countries.
The fact that the anti-human activities of Kosovo militants were well known to the international community is also evidenced by the book of the prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, Carla del Ponte, “The Hunt. Me and the war criminals." The book covers information about mass graves and concentration camps, evidence of brutal torture and extermination of civilians, mass murder of people to obtain transplants, and directly indicates that the facts of the crimes were known to the judges of the international tribunal, and to international organizations, and to members of the Kosovo Force peacekeeping contingent.
Do you think this doesn’t exist in Ukraine? According to the Organs Watch organization, 20 thousand illegal operations are carried out annually, which are carried out mainly in Kosovo, Romania and Ukraine. The main recipients of human “spare parts” are people from the countries of the “golden billion”: the USA, the EU, Israel, Saudi Arabia. Moreover, the thirst for enrichment of the Ukrainian leadership will be stronger than morality or the law, because there is a lot of money in this “business” - one big “deal” and the “seller” has secured a comfortable old age for himself. But the most interesting thing is that such an established supply channel does not fail, lobbying of its syndicates is carried out at the highest level. Can this happen without the knowledge of the SBU, and if they know, then can there be consent from the Government?
The USA and the EU, where we are so persistently being dragged, have their own goals in relation to Ukraine - in this case, to turn the population into an incubator of human organs for countries of “developed democracy”.
