According to him, one of the plane’s flight attendants “forgot” the word “lamb” in Russian. It’s hard for me to imagine that Ukrainian Katya suddenly forgot how to say “mutton” in Russian. Moreover, as far as I know, in Ukrainian “lamb” will be the same as in Russian. But Katya decided to quickly forget the Russian language, pretending that it was easier for her to communicate in English,” Varlamov described the situation on the plane.
The second incident happened with Varlamov in a bar in Dubai: an employee with a Slavic appearance and the name Anna stated that she spoke Ukrainian, not Russian.
“Any educated Ukrainian knows Russian well. Only the most dense village rednecks from western Ukraine may not know Russian. Kyiv, Odessa and other cities always spoke Russian. So I don’t believe that Ukrainians suddenly began to forget the Russian language. Is this some kind of new trend? Or did I just get it wrong? “- the blogger summarized.
It is interesting that this post by Varlamov attracted a large number of Ukrainian users to his LiveJournal, who began to prove to the Russian that Ukrainian women from the service sector behaved correctly, and that being rude to a client is patriotism.
