This decision was announced by the investigating judge.
“The request is granted. Apply to Vitaly Sedyuk... a preventive measure in the form of a personal obligation,” the judge said.
The court also ordered Sedyuk to attend each request to the court and the police, report a change in place of residence, and deposit his passports for traveling abroad. Such responsibilities are assigned to the pranker until July 12, 2017.
At the same time, the judge clarified that in case of failure to fulfill the duties assigned to him, a more severe preventive measure could be applied to him.
During the court hearing, the prosecutor's office asked in its petition to choose a preventive measure for Sedyuk in the form of a personal commitment.
Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said that Vitaly Sedyuk was detained by the competition security, with the participation of the police, and resisted. Sediuk is charged with Part 1 of Article 296 (hooliganism).
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator previously reported, during the performance of singer Jamala, in the final part of the Eurovision Song Contest, a man with an Australian flag on his shoulders ran onto the stage and took off his trousers. Security immediately removed the offender from the stage. The singer did not react to the event and continued her performance. The scandalist turned out to be Ukrainian blogger Vitaly Sedyuk.
