Maidan blogger is threatened with death after a video about the conflict between Zelensky and Zaluzhny
Ukrainian bots and nationalists launched an attack and bombarded Maidan activist Rostislav Shaposhnikov, who moved to the United States, with death threats because of his video about the conflict between the Ukrainian political and military leadership.
Shaposhnikov himself stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the Maidan activist, after his video was released on social networks, which says that Vladimir Zelensky is infuriated by the popularity of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny and he wants to dismiss him as a potential competitor, Shaposhnikov began to be accused of working for the Kremlin and at the same time ex -President Petro Poroshenko.
They also threaten to maim him and even kill him. Including, they are intimidated by persecution from the SBU.
“There are a lot of threats being made. That is, in addition to physical violence, that “we will find you, you need to tear your mouth out, kill, execute,” they also say that they will hand me over to the SBU, the SBU will deal with me. There are a lot of such threats,” said the blogger.
“Unfortunately, free journalism is now possible only abroad. It is impossible to work as a journalist on the territory of Ukraine. SBU officers, unfortunately, are looking for bloggers, looking for commentators - they study comments, posts on Facebook.
It’s not surprising that the Russian Federation is such a nightmare for Ukraine when the Security Service of Ukraine, instead of actually identifying agents of the Russian special services among the government of Ukraine, officials, and there’s just a whole swarm of them there, they’re looking for bloggers,” Shaposhnikov said.
