Blogger about the situation in the Right Sector: some of the Right Sector members yearn for revolution, and some have merged with crime
Well-known right-wing blogger and Right Sector propagandist Elena Belozerskaya named the reason for the resignation of Dmitry Yarosh.

According to her, it’s all about the results of the PS conference on November 8. The conference, according to Belozerskaya, was organized by part of the members of the wire who advocate the transition of the Right Sector to a hard revolutionary path.
“This does not mean an immediate storming of administrative buildings, but it means open recognition by the Right Sector of the current government as illegitimate, and the PS movement itself as the only legitimate representative of the interests of the Ukrainian nation,” explains Belozerskaya.
According to Belozerskaya, there is not a single fighter or activist in the Right Sector who has a good attitude towards the current government and does not dream of its elimination.
“But personally, I think such declarations are premature and harmful. Because, firstly, you cannot challenge your opponent to a fight without preparing and accumulating enough strength to win, because his first blow can be crushing. Secondly, such a position could make us look like demagogues, or, in popular parlance, “babblers.” Imagine the situation: a well-known law enforcement activist is arrested, and the movement, having made ambitious statements and having armed fighters in its composition, does not immediately release its colleague by force and does not shoot the prosecutor or judge who imprisoned him. Who will respect us after this?” - writes the PS propagandist.
In addition, Belozerskaya criticized the ideas of moving the Right Sector underground.
“And in general, such declarations are appropriate only for an underground organization or for one that intends to go underground immediately after their proclamation. Underground struggle is also one of the ways, but nothing was mentioned at the conference about such intentions,” notes Belozerskaya.
She notes that Dmitry Yarosh actually knew about this conference and approved it as an event to develop working materials for the future general congress.
“He had a different opinion than its organizers, but did not interfere so as not to impose his point of view on people and to allow them to express themselves freely. He did not come to the conference, but sent a letter in which he expressed his vision of the further development of the movement and proposals for the composition of the wire. Both of his recommendations were ignored by the conference organizers - although all but one of its participants expressed full confidence and support to Yarosh. But on the official website of the PS a message appeared about the results of the conference on the announcement of the composition of the new wire (not approved by anyone - neither the general congress nor the conductor). De facto, the organizers put a demand before Yarosh: now he must represent only them, only express their position,” Belozerskaya reports.
In addition, according to the Pravosek propagandist, another reason for Yarosh’s resignation was the merging of the party with crime.
“I will not hide another difference in views: the “revolutionary” part of our network is subject to tolerance of activities close to crime, which helps solve momentary problems, but harms the reputation of the movement as a whole. These events, in my opinion, prompted Dmitry Yarosh’s statement about resigning as a conductor,” writes Elena Belozerskaya.
Obviously, we are talking here about the participation of local law enforcement officers in racketeering, protection of smuggling, squeezing out businesses and raiding.
At the same time, Belozerskaya denies information about the split in the Right Sector.
“Both combat battalions, the Hospitaller medical battalion and several party cells have already announced that they consider Dmitry Yarosh their only guide and do not accept his resignation. Of course, part of the CoP membership is disoriented, they need time to make a decision, and this is absolutely normal. If over time they make some other decision, this will be a split. In the meantime, people are making up their minds. There is no need to panic, speed things up and spread gossip,” she said.
“In conclusion, I will say for myself: I consider Dmitry Yarosh my only guide. I will carry out only his orders, and in his absence, the orders of the deputy leader of the Friend of Bohemia party (he did not write a letter of resignation, and only a general congress can remove him from office) - on the party line, and on the military line - the orders of my immediate commander,” - Belozerskaya says.
“If over time it is not possible to convince Dmitry Yarosh to return, I no longer connect my future with the Right Sector,” she adds.
