“Petro Poroshenko Bloc” strikes at Kolomoisky’s people’s deputies
Kyiv, March 23 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – In the Verkhovna Rada, the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction intends to raise the issue of expelling from its ranks four deputies from Dnepropetrovsk who are associated with Igor Kolomoisky, and who declared their desire to leave the faction.

“At its meeting, the Council of the faction decided to consider at the next meeting of the faction the feasibility of the stay of people’s deputies: Vitaliy Kupriya, Andrey Denisenko, Alexander Dubinin and Valentin Didych as part of the faction of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc Party,” says the draft statement of the faction, the text of which is available "Ukrainian Truth".
According to the draft document, the faction will also appeal to the Prosecutor General's Office with a request to conduct a comprehensive and objective investigation into the circumstances of the death of an SBU officer in Volnovakha as soon as possible.
“If the Prosecutor General’s Office, for the purpose of an objective investigation, submits to the Verkhovna Rada a reasoned submission with the need to deprive the above-mentioned members of our faction of parliamentary immunity, in order to prove their guilt, our faction will support such an initiative and vote for depriving the immunity of people’s deputies: Vitaliy Kupriya, Andrey Denisenko, Alexander Dubinin and Valentin Didych,” the draft statement says.
“The Council of the faction of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc Party considers the position announced by these deputies to be one that discredits the very concept of a people’s deputy of Ukraine. We all ran for parliament to write and pass reformist laws, and not to defend private business interests and cover up criminal crimes,” the 112 TV channel quotes the same document.
