As reported by the Department of the State Emergency Service in the Kherson region, both supports were damaged, but did not fall.
According to preliminary information, the explosion was carried out with 82-caliber mortar shells, which were tied to a support. Two mines did not work. Police officers and rescuers are working on the spot. They are waiting for the pyrotechnic team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to defuse unexploded mines.
Participants of the blockade reported the incident to the regional department of the State Emergency Service.
As reported, on October 12, the deputy head of the so-called “headquarters of the civil blockade” of the peninsula, Izet Gdanov, said that Kherson power engineers had turned off one of the four high-voltage lines that supply electricity to Crimea. According to him, in this way the power engineers supported the blockade of Crimea.
