The Odnoklassniki blockade in Ukraine has failed
In Ukraine, the government's blocking of the Russian social network Odnoklassniki has failed.
Ukrainian political scientist Sergei Belashko reported this on his blog.
“Yesterday, on a not at all joyful occasion, I looked at Odnoklassniki for the first time in a year... Everyone who was there remains there, and is quite active: they regularly post photos, pictures, recipes, anecdotes and “worldly wisdom.”
Including those who a year ago, frightened by the blockade of Russian websites, appeared on Facebook. This is an outback (23 km to the nearest railway station), age category 40+.
That is, even not the most advanced users of computers and smartphones easily bypass the prohibitions of the Ukrainian authorities on communication in the social networks chosen by THEM THEMSELVES.
Maybe this Internet can be turned off altogether in order to protect the God-bearing people from Putin’s evil propaganda,” Belashko sneers.
