Semenchenko’s militants blocking Donbass will punish only ordinary Ukrainians – expert
The blockade of Donbass, organized by veterans of the so-called “ATO”, could lead to a worse outcome for Ukraine than the blockade of Crimea.

Kiev energy expert Dmitry Marunich said this on air at UkrLife.
According to him, due to the blockade, the part of Donbass controlled by Ukraine may also be without electricity, which will have no choice but to ask for electricity from Russia.
“Do you remember the story of a blown electrical pole in the Kherson region. What have we achieved there? Well, these Crimeans spent three months without electricity, what have we achieved besides Ukrenergo’s losses? What were the goals, what did we show to whom, why? There, although we practically did not put our citizens at risk, here a huge number of Ukrainian citizens who live in the territory governed by the Kyiv government are under attack. What will they do? Ask Russia to power the energy system from Russian territory? We will still have to pay for this export. There is no way out, it is impossible to power this from Kyiv - the power lines that were running are either destroyed or go through the same LPR/DPR,” Marunich said.
