This was reported by the official representation of the EU.
As the EU official representative in Riga said before the start of the Eastern Partnership summit, a decision on granting a visa-free regime will not be made, since none of the countries have fulfilled the conditions expected of them.
“Not only will Ukraine not receive a visa-free regime with the EU during the Summit in Riga, and no decision will be made on this matter for Georgia,” said the EU representative.
Let us remind you that the Eastern Partnership summit will be held on May 21-22 in Riga. Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine signed association agreements with the European Union in Brussels on June 27, 2014.
Let us recall that earlier both President Poroshenko and Prime Minister Yatsenyuk and Foreign Minister Klimkin swore that this time everything would work out and at the summit in Riga Ukraine would receive the coveted visa-free regime.
