DPR soldier about his injury: the fact that I survived is a miracle
During active clashes in the Donbass near Uglegorsk in 2015, military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces repeatedly tried to go on the offensive. In addition, they did not provide a corridor for removing the wounded.

A DPR army serviceman with the call sign “Tikhiy” told a PolitNavigator correspondent about this.
The military man spoke about his first injury, which occurred in 1995 in Grozny:
“Grozny, 1995. I volunteered as a contract soldier because I believed that everything that was happening there at that time was wrong. I received a concussion - a shrapnel struck my head, and that was the end of my entire service at that time,” he recalls.
Let us note that the serviceman received his second wound during the civil war in Donbass, during the battles near Uglegorsk.
“Everything was very chaotic there. They show this well in the movies, but to tell it all is difficult. I remember I was just loading the horn. There was a battle, an explosion and that was it. Considering the specifics of my injury, I consider it a huge miracle that I did not bleed,” he said.
“Tikhiy” recalls that while they were trying to evacuate him, his colleagues were surrounded several times:
“They threw me into a motorcycle league and took me to Uglegorsk. On the way, when I was injected with anti-shock and painkillers, it was dark, and we were definitely surrounded twice. I had to turn off the engine and sit quietly. We drove four hours to the emergency room. And with my wound, four hours, in principle, they cannot survive. I would just bleed to death. Didn't get captured - that's two. My guys took me there, and then they went missing for two or three days because they couldn’t get through the dill.
A mechanic-driver on a motorcycle league and two people. What will they do? They broke through when they already had a corridor, and they were able to return to their unit in position. Well, in the hospital I was in a coma for two days, during which time my heart stopped four times and started to restart. Somehow I survived,” he finished.
