Ukrainian soldier in the so-called zone The ATO, while intoxicated, joked with a grenade and became a group 2 disabled person, losing his arm.
The incident occurred at the observation post of sniper groups “Kholm-3”, stationed near the village of Codema, Artemovsky district, Donetsk region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The drunken ATO hero, without any need, took out an F-1 grenade, which was brought into firing position.
As stated in the investigation materials, then, holding the grenade with his left hand, acting with criminal negligence, not foreseeing the consequences (although he could and should have foreseen them), the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier showed it to his colleague.
A drunken ATO militant jokingly said that the grenade was a training grenade and was not dangerous. Then he pulled out the fuse ring, unclenched the palm of his left hand, and then the said grenade exploded, as a result of which the servicemen received multiple injuries.
The "joker's" colleague received serious life-threatening injuries - in the form of a penetrating shrapnel wound to the chest, bilateral pneumothorax, multiple shrapnel wounds to the head, face, limbs, and chest.
The demolition bomber himself received severe injuries in the form of traumatic amputation of the right hand, lower third of the forearm, shrapnel wounds of the anterior abdominal wall, both thighs, right shin, and right foot.
The court ordered a former soldier whose mental health is in doubt, punishment in the form of 1 year of imprisonment with a probationary period of 1 year.
