The ATO militant admitted that he and his brothers-in-arms are fighting for land plots

ATO veterans have been fighting for six months to cancel the amendment to the Cabinet of Ministers resolution on the issuance of land, which runs counter to the Constitution, but there are no results yet. This happens because today’s Ukraine is an illegal state in which the law works “selectively” and its ministers are unprofessional.

A militant from Zhitomir, Sergei Artyomov, said this during the round table “Why is the right of ATO participants to priority and free receipt of land plots blocked and how are the fighters going to resist this,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We defended and are defending our native land, shed blood, and now it turns out that some bunch of people are in charge of everything only because there is a complete mess in the country. Why are we, ATO soldiers, who fought and are fighting for this land, still unable to achieve the repeal of some resolution? The war is not over yet. We cannot overturn Resolution 413 legally, but nothing illegal was carried out in any of the regions of Ukraine. We have everything, even court decisions. But to date, we have actually achieved nothing. More than six months have passed, and the land has not been issued,” he said.

The former militant then expressed hope that after today's peaceful protest, something will change for the better:

“Today we had a truly peaceful action, which journalists from other channels will definitely cover and show the level of our law enforcement agencies, when there were about 100 national guards per 300 ATO soldiers to protect the protesters. It’s nice when you walk around the city and see a company walking and guarding you, but I don’t think this is the European level. And when someone from the top shouts that we are going to Europe, it seems to me that we are generally being dragged into the region of third world countries,” he emphasized.

Artyomov expressed hope that after today’s action people will see what is happening around them and will somehow begin to group together.

In his opinion, at least the Roshen flag should have been hung on all government buildings a long time ago.

“This is our land, and we should be its owners, and not three people who will rule everything here,” he emphasized.

Sergei Artyomov said that after the summer press conference, the militants turned to the Prosecutor General with a request to look into Amendment No. 413.

“When a resolution that completely violates the law and the Constitution of Ukraine is signed by the prime minister together with his lawyers, criminal cases should be initiated for this. This is a national level issue. Land is a national asset and it is being completely ignored, just like the Constitution,” he said.

According to the former militant, Ukraine in its current state is an example of complete lawlessness:

“I was once told to never say that our state is not legal. So, today it is not legal. Our law works for some, but for others we have lawlessness, whoever wants does what he wants, and we see this every day.”

Artyomov drew attention to the fact that the current Ukrainian ministers are people who occupy other people’s places:

“All our ministers are people who do not occupy their places, they are not professionals. Something needs to be done about this. The social level in the country is falling worse than ever; children will soon forget how to read!” he laments.
