The Ukrainian military rarely talks about the details of the fighting in Donbass, said ex-participant of the so-called ATO, blogger Alexander Shulman.

“If you noticed, almost none of those who fought talked about the battles themselves. They talk about dugouts, jokes, checkpoints, and what happened. Stories about the war come down to very short expressions - “came out, worked. We got hit in the frontal armor, I feel the tank is on fire, I shout “back”, but it doesn’t move back, the tank doesn’t move, I say: “Are you deaf?” A tank comes up from behind, grabs it, and starts dragging. The cumulative projectile hit the driver directly, knocking off his head. Or the same driver mechanics shift into reverse gear with their last effort, and the tank goes into reverse. The driver died, but the tank got out and carried two wounded tankers. These are absolutely real things, absolutely tough, terrible realities. To write about them - well, I don’t know. It’s also impossible not to write,” Shulman said.
According to him, the war in Donbass will not end soon, and Russia will not collapse, as many “experts” predicted.
“Don’t expect that Russia will crumble or fall apart very quickly, because people are used to eating dumplings with quinoa or frying birch bark in machine oil, so the war is not over, and the war will continue,” the ATO militant outlined the prospects.
