“Azov” militant: Pasha wrote only good things about us
Journalist Pavel Sheremet, who died in Kyiv, was friends with the nationalists, so there was no point in the so-called volunteers killing him. The reconnaissance commander of the Azov regiment, Sergei Korotkikh, stated this on the talk-shock show Shuster.LIVE.

According to him, on the eve of his death, Sheremet met with representatives of Azov, who were supposed to participate in the rally along with the miners.
“We didn’t have a conflict. Pasha wrote exclusively good things about us, including about me personally. He “Azov” was a little behind other volunteers precisely due to the fact that “Azov” always tried to be law-abiding and adhered to the principle that we are a stabilizing force in the country. We always had a separate, special relationship with Pasha, and this can be seen in all of Pasha’s materials that he wrote.
We met with him at 11 pm and talked until 12 somewhere. An action by the miners, their protest, was being prepared. They haven’t been paid a salary for six months, and Pasha promised to support him, he was just going on the radio to do live broadcasts with the coordinator to present the point of view of the miners, why they took to the streets,” Korotkikh said.
