ATO militants boasted about beating senior officers and sending generals to hell
There is virtually no discipline in the Ukrainian Armed Forces units located on the contact line in Donbass.

This conclusion follows from reportage Kyiv online newspaper “Strana”, whose journalist visited Ukrainian positions in Avdeevka and talked with military personnel.
“Write in your article that we saw all the bosses - generals and staff officers - in one place. They come here once every six months, jump out to the front for a minute, and then only during the day, when they rarely shoot. And then they quickly hide in the dugout and run to the rear. Receive medals and UBD certificates. And the bosses who are closer - the brigades - leaven almost every day. When we came here for the first time, there was such a blue schmuck - the chief of staff. This miracle climbed out onto the porch and let’s take command. And he can barely stand on his feet. Soooo, this avatar with the stars of the lieutenant colonel is yelling, line up! You, he says, are all creatures from the rear - you came here and will fight as necessary.
How should it be, we ask? Almost all of us have been fighting since '14, volunteers. Some were in Ilovaisk, some at Saur-Mogila, some came out of Debal fighting. Well, this schmuck yells, we will show you how to love your homeland. Well, then one of our guys couldn’t stand it, he came up when everyone at the base was gathering and punched him in the blue face. And that’s it, the avatar hid and never caught our eye again. And those who saw all this - those soldiers who were in this unit before us - let us applaud, they say, everyone is already fed up with this blue schmuck...”, one of the soldiers shared his experience of communicating with commanders.
“For our staff, commanders and everyone who serves them, these are monetary business trips and recreation. They come here, sit a few kilometers from the front, drink and relax. They don't let you fight. We moved three hundred meters forward, pushed back the separatists, and there was such a scandal that mother, don’t worry. The separatists are pouring mortars on us, our platoon commander gave the command to respond - they fired. They immediately call from headquarters, why are you shooting? There was no team! Well, we sent them to hell,” another Ukrainian soldier boasted.
Another former “Donbass” militant with the call sign “Spaniard” said that after the defeat in Ilovaisk and the hospital he ended up in the National Guard.
“But there the real circus began. At first they tried to turn us into trash, they kept telling us every day that you now have police functions. We didn't like it. Then an important general arrived and started yelling at us: “Take off the multicams, the separatists are wearing them! “Donbass” stripes – take them off, your battalion is no more!” Well, we stood up - everyone who was in the Donbass battalion, and in chorus: Comrade General, go to hell..! So we said goodbye to the National Guard. The entire former unit from the Donbass battalion joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” says the militant.
However, according to him, the army began “its own circus.”
“Even in the rear, before leaving for the front line, we were promised new equipment and weapons. Then they gave us armored personnel carriers and drove them to the training ground. So almost all of these armored personnel carriers did not make it to the training ground, they broke down! This happens all the time in the army. The equipment is rusty old stuff. You can't fight something like that. And for some reason everything new is in the second and third echelon, where even the sound of a shot does not reach. But we stand, we fight with what we have. We're already used to it. But you can’t remain silent about this either. There in the rear - a thief sits on a thief and drives the thief. A protracted war is beneficial for many traitors in Ukraine - that’s why our hucksters were chasing coal here from the separatists until recently, and deputies and officials were protecting them,” claims “Spaniard.”
