“Our intelligence has received information about yet another atrocities committed by radicals. Thus, on July 12, 2017, a group of servicemen of the 57th motorized brigade, formerly members of the nationalist movement “Right Sector” and professing Slavic paganism, celebrated the ancient Slavic holiday “Choice of a sacrifice to Perun” in one of the forest zones of the village. Pervomayskoe (near the village of Avdeevka), they built a sanctuary to the pagan god Perun and sacrificed Evgeniy Viktorovich Prokhorchuk, born in 1979, who was previously considered missing.
According to the Old Slavonic canons, this “holiday” is accompanied by the sacrifice of slaves from among captured enemies,” said Basurin.
