The fugitive Deputy Prime Minister of the Crimean government, Lenur Islyamov, again materialized in the Ukrainian media space, filming a video against the backdrop of the Crimean Tatar flag at positions near Artyomovsk.

The next reincarnation of Islyamov, as a combat unit of the Ukrainian troops, and even broadcasting in Ukrainian about the imminent attack on Crimea, speaks of complete disidentification with his people, the executive secretary of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea and Sevastopol, Aider Adzhimambetov, noted on the air of “Crimea 24”, reports correspondent for PolitNavigator.

“Most of our compatriots still understand what is happening in our society and where we are moving, what changes have occurred in society. There are, of course, destructive thoughts and attitudes. But, nevertheless, over time it all falls into place, people understand that those who are outside Crimea cannot tell us how to live here. They will not take responsibility to those people who live in their homeland. This responsibility lies with each of us who lives here in Crimea, creates, works, builds our own houses, and raises children. Because only in this format can the people survive,” he noted.

– If we go back to history, how many waves of departures from Crimea were there? Then, too, the information campaign worked, the same imams and religious figures played their role when they said that it was necessary to leave the Motherland. And then most of the Crimean Tatars left, today we see that there is a large diaspora in Turkey, a large diaspora in Romania, there is a diaspora in Bulgaria. But they can no longer be called Crimean Tatars, because they have assimilated so much. At best, they will name where their ancestor is from, from which Crimean village. This shows that everything disappears outside the Motherland. The revival and development of a people occurs only at home.”

According to a representative of the SUMK, the false mufti of Crimea appointed by Kiev, Aider Rustemov, talks about tens of thousands of Crimean Tatars who left Crimea with the beginning of the Northern Military District. According to his information, every fifth Crimean Tatar went on the run, but such a number would be very noticeable. According to Adzhimambetov, some were indeed afraid of the war and took their families out. But now, having calmed down, we returned back to Crimea.

“We understand that fear has big eyes. Therefore, some subconsciously understood that they were making a mistake, but last year people, having moved away from loved ones, moved away from their homeland, began to understand that they had done the wrong thing, and, nevertheless, most of the people who began to run away out of fear returned to their home, to their families,” he emphasized.
