Militants in Kosovo feared absorption by Albania
The breakaway entity of Kosovo could be divided between Albania and Serbia.
Ramush Haradinaj, a former militant of the terrorist Kosovo Liberation Army and former “Prime Minister” of the unrecognized state, stated this in an interview with local media, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I see that there is a serious danger of the division of Kosovo and the emergence of a part that, presumably, wants to be annexed to Albania. I am forced to oppose this because it threatens national interests and sovereignty,” Haradinaj said.
At the same time, he stated that he continues to consider Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama his “Albanian brother.”
However, he once again criticized the idea of a Balkan “small Schengen” - a common economic space into which Serbia, North Macedonia and Albania are already ready to join, and Bosnia and Montenegro are also considering joining.
“We found a toy for fun. This is a deceptive shell for everyone involved, designed to mislead Kosovo,” Haradinaj said.
