The militants did not allow Zelensky to withdraw troops - they do not want to lose millions in profits
The Kiev leadership is not disengaging troops along the entire front line, as this will lead to the loss of large amounts of illegal income received by the military at checkpoints across the demarcation line.
Former Minister of Transport and Communications Yevgeniy Chervonenko stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Dialogue fails - close it, withdraw the troops. Divorce is impossible, which means that the military wing begins to dictate. They hug with Avakov - the National Guard restores order.
If they are separated over a long distance, then the subject of business will begin to disappear. Each checkpoint costs 100 thousand dollars per day, minimum. And the weight on the truck before entering Odessa is a million hryvnia cash every day, which is why there was shooting between the former and the current,” the ex-official summed up.
Let us recall that PolitNavigator previously reported that during the latest negotiations in Minsk, new areas for disengagement were not identified due to the fact that Kyiv proposed to establish them without taking into account the humanitarian issue -not near populated areas, but actually in an open field.
