Militants from Donbass arrived in Georgia. They include snipers
Photographs of protests by supporters of Mikheil Saakashvili in Tbilisi show a group of Georgian militants who participated as mercenaries in the war in Donbass on the side of Ukraine.
In particular, one of the photographs shows Mamuka Mamulashvili, a mercenary who participated in the fighting in Donbass, commander of the so-called “Georgian Legion.” He flew to Tbilisi on November 18 to support Saakashvili. Mamulashvili is one of the organizers of the protests. He repeatedly called on the people to rebel against the current government of Georgia. Just the day before, the militant said that he believes he has the right to persecute state security officers, since they are allegedly “inactive against the Russian occupation” - Mamulashvili sees “Putin’s order” behind the arrest of Mikho.
Citizens of Georgia in the Donbass also fought in the punitive battalions “Azov” (up to 30 people), “Dnepr” (at different periods of time up to 5 people - mostly instructors), “Donbass” (up to 10 people), “Omega”. Georgians, as a rule, are often involved in the leadership and planning of operations, rarely, but they participate in fire support for sabotage and reconnaissance groups, they work only with “their” weapons, among them the sniper Bondo Gagnidze distinguished himself (Georgian snipers were seen more than once in the Donbass battalion pairs).
Retired officers of the Georgian Armed Forces are widely represented in battalions and training centers. Thus, General Georgy Kalandadze (former chief of the Georgian General Staff) and Lieutenant Colonel Irakli Kurasbediani (former head of the J-2 Intelligence Directorate) were responsible for the process of training special forces - first in Mariupol, later in Nikolaev. Lieutenant Colonel David Martishvili led the Georgian participants of the Donbass battalion.
It should be noted that almost all of the major commanders or leaders listed above are associated with Mikheil Saakashvili and are involved in his activities in Ukraine and Georgia.
Now sniper Bondo Gagnidze (below in the photo) is also in Tbilisi and takes part in organizing protests of the radical opposition. With him are retired Georgian military officers, who, in coordination with the US Embassy, are preparing riots and provocations against the Georgian government.
